Isn’t this a handsome piece. Made by Edward East, the famed goldsmith and maker of elegant timepieces, around 1640 in Britain, this watch boasts a case and dial of painted enamel and gilt brass.

The watch is signed “Eduardus East Londini”—as it should be. The movement is constructed of brass and demonstrates East’s renowned ingenuity.
